Modern conservative edition of the complete treatise (Paris: P. M. Delaguette, 1775): title, dedication, Avis aux Relieurs, Avertissement, Avant-propos, errata, text pp. 1–236 (including the Table des caractères), table, approbation and privilège (incomplete in the copy used), frontispiece and plates I–V (12 airs). Based on the copy formerly in the Frederick Selch collection, digitized by the Internet Archive (IMSLP #467393); the Minkoff facsimile (Geneva, 1971; #405052) was used only to read letters hidden by the binding. Original spelling, accents and punctuation retained; long s modernized; errata applied with the original readings in footnotes; all footnotes are editorial; original pagination in the margin. Collated against two independent OCR readings (not a character-by-character diplomatic collation). Editorial notes in French.
