Massenet indicates that this is the "first manuscript" and it appears to have been given to Lucy Arbell (creator of the role of Perséphone) by the composer. The original file on BNF shows a number of early drafts that were subsequently pasted over with new material. The score has been edited here to avoid duplication and present the composer's intent.
