Misc. Notes

This is the version given in the Lambeth and Caius Choirbooks. The Forrest-Heyther partbooks give a different version of the Gloria: Qui tollis --- deprecationem nostram. This edition is transposed up a tone because of the pitch change. as with all Fayrfax' festal masses this gives parts for two unbroken voices, treble and mean, two tenor voices, alto and tenor, and bass. There is no falsetto voice. Note values have been halved. Editorial accidentals have been supplied sparingly, and are indicated by a small circle.
