Misc. Notes
The original is notated in scordatura, but here it is presented in standard notation (at pitch). The viola d'amore is tuned in the customary D major tuning. I have preserved Huberty's intended fingerings which were indicated by the scordatura. Generally, the implied position indicated by a fingering is held until the next fingering mark or, in most cases, a change of clef. "Scaniello" is an archaic term for "sul ponticello". Dynamics and other markings not in the original are in parenthesis. —GS
