Note re translator: a letter from Liszt to Ramann, does identify Cowdery as female without giving her full name (and criticizes Cowdery's translation work, noting that she translates "moll" (minor) as "flat", "dur" (major) as "sharp" throughout, for example...) (quoted in Walker, "Liszt: The Final Years".)
