Several republications exist with ©1892, including a possibly ca.1920 one in the Kammermusik Bibliothek series (1607/8). This does not, of course, establish that a copyright was on the original score. (Monatsbericht 1892 220 does establish the date. Plate 19524 is from the copy of the first edition at Bayerisches Library BSB (library card).
