Copied from Songs and Madrigals of the Fifteenth Century, The Plainsong and Mediaeval Music Society, London: Bernhard Quaritch, 1891. In the song book, it is written that No. 7 by Henry VIII "is given in the form in which it appears on fol. 53 of Add. MSS. 31922 (in the British Museum) as an instrumental piece; but on fol. 49 of the same MS. a shorter version is given with words as the Madrigal 'If love now reigned.'"
