It's unclear whether the first edition orchestral score was published with a dated copyright notice (and very few libraries, at least, seem to stock that first edition orchestral score. Note that the presence of a dated copyright notice of 1897 on a 1990 reprint implies nothing about what a purchaser would have seen in 1897, of course and obviously.) The Weinberger plate of the original issue can for now be best put as "unknown", though perhaps close to 888 (the plate of the piano reduction.)
