Sextett, Op.8

Public Domain

Fr. Kistner, n.d.1846 .

Maison d’édition

Leipzig: Fr. Kistner, n.d.1846 . Plate 1466.

Remarques diverses

This file is part of the Sibley Mirroring Project. Judging from its place in the HMB "table" (since Op.10 was published in 1830 and this is Op.8, etc. etc. ...) this may not be the first appearance of the work in print. However, a 1820-1840 search of Google Books seems to turn up nothing here. Interestingly for a publication from 1846, the title page says in small print, "Augener & Co. in London". I did think Augener didn't exist in 1846. Maybe this is a slightly changed later reprint with the same plates.
