According to the score I got ahold of, the cover page states an edition numbered "3438" whereas the first page of this score of the file shows "3436" under "4. Quartett". The 3438 mentioned is the same as Kammermusik No. 1 Op.24 No.1 score here on IMSLP. I think this score is most likely edition 3436. Update "3438" is First Edition according to Paul Hindemith's: A Research and Information Guide. The 3436 must be an old edition number before Op. 2 was designated as No. 1 in the seven string quartet series.
