Butterfly Trio was inspired by two monarch butterflies dancing and weaving above the cone flowers outside my window on a warm summer's day in 2016. I tried to show their energy and the lilting way in which they flited about, would come to rest on a flower, only to take off again in their intricate dance. I hope you enjoy the piece.
