This exemplar bears many manuscript annotations (in both Frakturschrift and Roman letters) ranging from titles, words (e.g. No.6: “Ein Mädchen oder Weibchen” added on “Nun lob mein Seel den Herren”!), corrections (No.54 “in Bach's original writing”); but moreover, C.P.E. Bach's preface has been “corrected” in a very incisive critical way, letting it say the very contrary to what it originally said.
