This edition was published originally only with English text by Judah. A. Joffe, who died in 1966. For copyright reasons, Joffe's text is omitted and replaced by the original Russian poem by Vl. Linder from 1904. The original poem is quoted in M.I. Lil'e's diary about the seige of Port Arthur.
