Manuscript source used to create the edition: I-Tn, Foà 27, Bl. 146-253. There's an "A" note in bar no.53 in the Second instrumental part, just preceeded by an "A-flat" note in the Bass part, and there's again an "A-flat" in the Bass part, one bar after. The editor's choice is to indicate an "A-flat" (bar 53) in the Second (instrumental) part.
