Sonstige Bemerkungen
Although the manuscript was mostly written by J. S. Bach, his authorship of the work is uncertain. The title given by him (on page 3) was:
Concerto. à 4 Voci. 3 Trombe, Tamburi, 2 Hautb: Violino ConC. 2 Violini, Viola e Cont.
The music after page 14 is lost. The copyist who added the last 2 bars (on page 15) has not been identified.

Sonstige Bemerkungen
This edition proposes a reconstruction of the presumably lost ending. Ossias permit performance in putative original strings-only scoring. Reconstruction initially copyrighted 2013 by Benjamin Shute. PRB Productions typeset and published the edition, together with harpsichord realisation by Anastasia Abu Bakar, in 2017. Following the dissolution of PRB Productions in 2023, all rights reverted to the creators of the edition.
